Northern Europe 2026

Welcome to Hilda’s Northern European Trip blog. Just a short explanation to the background – I said to Jezza last year that I wanted to see the tulips in Amsterdam…. Well, this has been a trip in the planning (by Jezza) for about a year and has evolved from a short holiday in Amsterdam to a full blown Northern European extravaganza – what were once easily accessible destinations from the UK become somewhat compliqué for us French peasants to get to now, which contributes to the length of the trip… 14 days and 13 nights! 2 nights Brussels, 4 nights Amsterdam, 3 nights Berlin and 3 nights Prague. Then back to Saint-Chinian via an overnight stop near Charleroi Airport.

Jezza has arranged an action packed itinerary for all the destinations, but really and truly, this is all about the tulips!

Well we’re all packed now – hopefully we’ve got the right clothing for the weather which will probably be a bit of a shock to the system after the weather in Saint Chinian this last week.
