Well we’re nearly all packed now and, most importantly, my hands and trotters are painted! – hopefully we’ve got the right clothing for the weather which will probably be a bit of a shock to the system after the weather in Saint-Chinian this last week. I’m just hoping that I’ll have enough room in my hand luggage for my knitting once all the lotions and potions have been stowed – but that’s something for the morning….
We’ve been getting reminders from Ryanair since lunchtime to check in – Jezza’s been on the case and we’ve ascertained that the flight is nearly full. He reckons that if we wait a bit longer, we’ll get allocated the expensive seats 🤨 – watch this space 😂😂. We’ve both downloaded stuff from the Iplayer to keep us amused on the flight tomorrow – I have The Other Bennet Sister and Jezza’s got Industry – polar opposites!!!
I’ve given all my plants a thorough soaking and will leave them in Ruthanne’s capable hands whilst we’re away – hopefully taking the geranium window boxes down and putting them on the terrace won’t be a red flag to alert any criminals here that we’re away 😂😂😂.
Our holiday starts here with Pizza Friday, washed down with Oh My Orange for me and Perseverance (rather apt) for Jezza!
