Welcome to Hilda’s Northern European Trip blog. Just a short explanation to the background – I said to Jezza last year that I wanted to see the tulips in Amsterdam…. Well, this has been a trip in the planning (by Jezza) for about a year and has evolved from a short holiday in Amsterdam to a full blown nearly 2 week Northern European extravaganza!!
What was once an easily accessible destination from the UK now becomes a slight problem for us as it’s not possible to fly directly to some of the places we’re visiting directly from our local airport at Béziers-Cap d’Agde. So, we’re having to fly to Brussels Charleroi and then use FlixBus and FlixTrain to visit our chosen cities, before making our way back to Charleroi for the flight back home.
